Cadiz vs Valencia Prediction: La Liga match on 30.04.2023

Valencia moved out of the bottom three with a huge victory on Thursday. They will be looking to maintain their two-game winning streak on Sunday when they clash with Cadiz, who sit just a point above the bottom three places in La Liga.

La Liga Preview

Valencia has eased their relegation troubles over the previous seven days, as they have managed to pick up back-to-back wins. That return to form has come at a welcome time for the Spanish giants, and it has seen them move two points above the relegation places. Valencia produced an excellent comeback in midweek to claim a crucial 2-1 home win against Valladolid.

They went behind after six minutes, before Mouctar Diakhaby levelled the scores after 60 minutes. Valencia then scored a dramatic winner in the third minute of injury time, as Javier Guerra Moreno fired home. However, they will be looking for back-to-back wins on the road for the first time since December 2021.

Cadiz also find themselves toward the bottom of the La Liga standings, as they sit just a point outside the relegation spots. They come into this game in contrasting form to the visitors, as they have lost two of their previous three, and they have registered just a single win over their previous five matches.

The goals have really dried up for Cadiz in recent weeks, as they have failed to score in four of their last five. It has been an extremely poor run for the hosts after losing just four in their 12 matches before the start of this period. A return to form is needed if they are to stay in La Liga.

Cadiz vs Valencia Head to Head

Cadiz has an excellent recent record against Valencia, as they are unbeaten in their previous five clashes. Over that period, Cadiz has registered two wins, while three fixtures have ended in draws. Cadiz has also gone two without a loss in their recent home matches against Valencia.

Cadiz vs Valencia Prediction

Valencia’s win on Thursday was huge for their survival chances, and an enormous amount of confidence would have been taken out of the win. For that reason, we could see the visitors claiming a third straight success on Sunday against Cadiz.
