The German Bundesliga provides fans with an exciting match on Saturday afternoon as Bayern Munich take on Eintracht Frankfurt from 14:30 GMT. The home side will expect to take all three points, but this will be their second game of the week following a Champions League group match against La Liga giants Atletico Madrid on Wednesday evening.
Bayern Munich start the weekend second in the Bundesliga table with their stats for the season showing three wins against a defeat. They have scored an incredible 17 goals in their 4 league matches but conceded 8 and the latter will be cause for concern to everyone with an interest in the club. Munich set-up on the back of two wins in their last two games and will be confident in their ability to complete the treble.
The locals were last seen in league action hammering Arminia Bielefeld 4-1 away from home a week ago. It was a match most expected them to win but the players deserve credit for the performance and margin of victory achieved that day. Muller scored a double and Lewandowski chipped in with two goals of his own before Tolisso was sent off near the end.
Eintracht Frankfurt went into this campaign hoping to challenge for the European places and they have made a strong start. The visitors arrive in Munich sitting fourth in the table with eight points on the board thanks to two wins and a couple of draws. Interestingly, Frankfurt are one of only four unbeaten teams left in the Bundesliga.
They have claimed seven of the last nine points available to them but followed back-to-back wins with a draw against FC Koln last weekend. That match ended 1-1 on Sunday when an Andre Silva penalty scored in first-half stoppage time was cancelled out by a Duda equaliser early in the second half. Both teams had chances to win the game but lacked composure in attacking positions.
Bayern Munich responded well to their defeat and will be eager to build on their recent form to grab another three points in this game. Frankfurt will defend their proud unbeaten record at all costs and may choose to sit deep and hit on the counter.
Bayern Munch are priced at 1.215 with 22bet to win with Frankfurt 11.5 and the draw 7.
