They are in danger of getting cut adrift in the relegation spots, as they already sit four points from safety after 15 matches. Salernitana comes into the latest round after suffering defeats in their last two matches in the Italian top flight. Their most recent defeat was suffered at home, as they were made to pay for a low start against Bologna after conceding twice inside the opening 20 minutes. But, they did pull a goal back with 15 minutes remaining to threaten a comeback.
