Jose Mourinho’s main aim this term would have been to guide AS Roma into a Champions League spot. The club appear good value to achieve that at this stage of the season, as they sit just a point behind AC Milan with eleven games remaining. They are nine points from safety, and have picked up just three victories from 27 matches this term. However, they were winners in their most recent fixture against Hellas Verona. 

Sampdoria will be looking to record back-to-back league wins for the first time since November 2021 this weekend. Meanwhile, they could be confident of achieving that, having avoided defeat in four of their previous seven league fixtures.
