AC Milan’s dreams of a title defence have already gone up in smoke this season, and they are now battling for a finish in the Champions League spots in Serie A. Milan has gone five games without a victory in the league, and that has seen them drop down to sixth in the standings. However, a return to winning ways on Friday would see them go back into the top four before their rivals have an opportunity to respond.

The most recent of their losses was a stinging defeat in the Milan derby against Inter on Sunday evening. Torino is unbeaten in three Serie A fixtures, winning twice over that period. They were professional winners in their most recent fixture, as they landed a 1-0 home win over Udinese. The only goal in the game was scored by Yann Karamoh early in the second half.
